VIDEO VISITATION MANDATED REGULATIONS

 

The facility recognizes the significance of visitation and the opportunity to maintain contact with family and friends while upholding facility safety and security. Visitation with inmates incarcerated at the facility is non-contract using video monitors in completing a Video Visitation. Please note that Video Visitation is a privilege. Visitors are responsible for following the Video Visitation policy and regulations of the facility.

 

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Uploading your State ID/Driver’s license and/or Picture requested from the facility must be submitted for account verification of the account holder.

Visitors shall place their ID on a flat surface, center the ID and provide ample light. This photo must be clear, visible, and must fit inside the alignment box when uploading.

Photo picture uploads must be of your face ONLY. Inappropriate shots of anything other than the required head shot will be deemed unacceptable.

 

Your participation in Video Visitation constitutes consent to this recording and monitoring of all sessions.

 

When waiting in the visit que you it will be noted to you if your party has or has not joined yet, please wait for the countdown of your visit before disconnecting. When entering your Video Visit after your party is attempting to connect: For connection purposes please stay on your Video Visit for at least30 seconds to be connected to your party. Connections are not always instant and need some time for you and/or your party to be visible to one another.

Visits will not be charged until both parties are able to connect to the visit. You are only changed for the amount of time you are on the visit. If the visitor loses connection during the visit no refund will be issued; neither the authority nor NCIC has any control over the visitor’s internet connection. Visits being conducted while operating a motor vehicle will be terminated without warning and refunds will not be offered. This is a safety precaution for you and/or other motorists. If an inmate does not show up to a scheduled visit, the visit cannot be rescheduled through NCIC. This request will need to be submitted and administered by the facility.

 

VISITATION RULES:

The facility reserves the right to deny, change, cancel, or terminate a Video Visitation session at any time at their discretion.

·  Visitors are NOT PERMITTED to use any additional cameras, and/or video devices, telecommunications or recording devices in an attempt to record or duplicate a video visit either on-site in the main lobby at the Facility or off-site prior to, during or at the conclusion of a video visit. Violators may be subject to termination of their Video Visitation privileges.

·  Video Visitation may be denied to disorderly persons.

·  Illegal drugs and drug-related signs, symbols, photos, videos, etc. are prohibited during a visit.

·  Use of language which constitutes a security concern for the facility is prohibited during a visit.

·  Gang-related signs, symbols, photos, videos, etc. are prohibited during a visit.

·  All people appearing in the video visit must be fully clothed including children and babies.

No inappropriate clothing such as revealing undergarments, wearing see-through or transparent, low cut and or revealing clothing, swim wear, halter, tank and tube tops, strapless attire, “short” skirts or “short” shorts such as spandex, etc. Provocative clothing which exposes the chest, midriff, are extremely tight, off the shoulders or any style which exposes any part of the chest shall not be permitted.

Visitor’s attire deemed inappropriate by Facility staff shall be denied a video visit.

·  Loud talking, excessive emotionalism or any other type of disruptive behavior shall not be permitted. Visitors shall not deliberately incite or engage in an argumentative conversation with an inmate or any other person during Video Visitation.

·  Presence of nudity or sexual acts conducted during Video Visitation shall not be permitted. Actions of this type shall result in loss of Video Visitation privileges for visitor and/or inmate.

·  All inmates and visitors are to follow the instructions of Facility staff. Failure to do so may result in a loss of Video Visitation privileges.

·  If any court of record imposes a no contact order or temporary restraining order between the inmate and a potential visitor, no Video Visitation will occur.

 

‍THE Facility RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE OR DENY A VIDEO VISITATION AT ANY TIME:

Inmates shall not be restricted in regard to who they visit unless the Jail Administrator or designee determines that a visitor should be excluded. Video Visitation can be denied through justified restrictions if:

 

1.     The visitor represents a clear and present danger to the security, safety, and best interest of the Facility.

2.     The visitor uses an additional camera, telecommunications or recording device during the visit.

3.     The visitor has a recent history of disruptive (disorderly)behavior at the Facility.

4.     There is reasonable cause to believe the visitor is under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

5.     The visitor is not dressed properly as per the established dress code.

6.     The inmate refuses the visit.

7.     Visiting restrictions have been placed on the inmate for reasons involving discipline or security of the facility.

8.     If it is determined that there are other substantial reasons to justify such limitations in order to promote the safe and secure operation of the facility.

9.     Any court of record imposes a no contact order or temporary restraining order that is currently in effect between an inmate and a potential visitor.

10.   The Jail Administrator or designee decides that there are significant reasons related to safety, security and in the best interest of the jail to necessitate denial or rescheduling of Video Visitation.

  

MESSAGING RULES:

All electronic messaging is subject to monitoring.

Foul language, inappropriate talk, sexual language and/or anything found suspicious by the facility will be reviewed and will result in loss of permanent messaging privileges; no refunds will be issued.

All attachments uploaded are sent to be quarantined prior to being viewed by the inmate. Uploading inappropriate pictures such as provocative, sexual, nude or an attachment found suspicious by the facility will NOT be refunded. The attachment will be deleted and could result in loss of permanent messaging and/or attachment privileges.

NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BEMADE:

Failure to follow the rules and regulations may result in loss of visitation and messaging privileges.

Privileges may be suspended or terminated for inappropriate behavior or misuse of the visitation system. Visits, except validated professional accounts will be monitored by correctional officers and recorded. All recordings are subject to investigation and prosecution.
