Remote Monitoring

Remote Monitoring

I.C.E. provides an Alert for investigators which can be used to listen to and/or approve a call either prior to acceptance or while in progress.  When an "alerted" call is detected the alert is sent to the administrator via email, voice or text (depending on how the alert is setup).  The alert will allow the administrator to approve the call or listen to the call (depending on the type of alert).  Monitoring can be performed from multiple endpoints at once and does not affect the ability of the system to record calls and is not detectable by either called party.  The following window allows administrators to setup the Alert.

The system will need to be equipped with a remote call-forwarding feature for those numbers that are under surveillance by the investigative unit.  The feature will need to allow authorized personnel to monitor a call, from any designated remote location, while the call is in progress.  The call will need to be automatically re-routed once the call is accepted by the called party and in progress.  There cannot be any distance barriers to the retrieval process so the remote telephone number can be located within the facility or across the country.

I.C.E. provides the Investigative Remote Call Forward feature using Alerts.  Investigators can create an Alert for any phone number (click on any phone number from the call history screen).  The alert will call the investigator and 1) require an approval code before the call is completed and 2) send the completed call to the investigator so they can monitor the call.  Monitored calls don't have to be approved.  The alert can be sent to any phone number in the world.  The following window allows administrators to setup the Alert and demonstrates other alert features, including adding the call recording and call record to a special investigative briefcase for easy review later.
