Inmate Phone Service Scheduling
Commander Nexus is equipped with phone circuit schedules that you can program for regular telephone service and routine system shutdown intervals, such as lockdown through morning. Any system telephone can be assigned to one of five circuit schedules or a 24-hour in service schedule. You can schedule each 24-hour schedule to place phones in or out of service in 15-minute increments. Each schedule provides independent control over weekday, weekend and holidays. Circuit schedules are programmed from the AdminManager.
Furthermore, Commander Nexus provides three ways to take phones out of service from the AdminManager workstation. You can shutdown an individual phone, defined groups of phones, or all system phones with a simple click of the mouse. You can resume service in the same rapid fashion.
To enable shutting down a group of phone locations and lines at once, you can configure groups. You can assign any number of phone circuits to a group and create as many groups as needed. When you force a group out-of-service, all phone circuits assigned to that group have service cut off.
