Which international countries are called most frequently from payphones besides Mexico and Canada?
Guatemala (011 502), El Salvador (011 503), United Kingdom (011 44), Honduras (011 504), India (011 91), Japan (011 81), France (011 33), Germany (011 49) and Brazil (011 55).
Most of the islands in the Caribbean use area codes, not country codes.
It is very important for you to program these international locations accordingly. In order to help you, we are providing a list of international locations that must be programmed with an area code.
Inmate
Our call recording capability is now available for small to medium sized jails and detention facilities. It allows the facility manager to quickly have access to inmate call recordings. It also prevents inmates from using phone systems for criminal intent due to our notification “This call will be recorded.”
The call recordings service is available on all calls processed through the NCIC switches and can be used on any of our access methods… 800, VOIP or even T-1. The call recordings are easily retrieved from our secure website
within 1 hour of the call termination.
Additional Benefits
of the Call Recording Capabilities:
•No need for on-site recording equipment
•Less recording system down-time
•Introduces call recording capabilities to small jails

From The President
NCIC Operator Services is celebrating 10 years of service and would like to express deep appreciation to all of our loyal customers for helping make it a success! Over the past decade, the operator service industry has weathered many storms, but NCIC’s customers are the true survivors. My hat is off to all of you that have seen the ups and downs and are managing to grow
your businesses and help NCIC grow ours!
I reflect back to the Texas Payphone Association Meeting in the summer of 1997, where I was speaking with Robert ”Mac” Mc Crossen of Qwest/USLD about the new operator call center that we were opening. I specifically remember the question “Who would buy a switch and build an operator service call center this day in age?” I have actually asked myself that question a couple of times since then, but am glad we continue to persevere and have a great staff running the shop for us.
I must say our business is blessed and that we are actively developing more and more products to help all of our customers maximize revenues. We have a couple of nice “surprise” products that I hope to roll out this winter for our operator service and inmate customers. We are determined to keep those customers coming back to your phones!
We hope to have an opportunity to visit with all of our customers at the upcoming trade shows and state association meetings. NCIC actively encourages you to support the APCC and your state payphone associations for all of our benefits. Thank you for your patronage and we look forward to serving you for another 10 years! Thank you for your loyalty!
